Flow Performance Analysis of Double-Chamber Gas–Liquid Transferring Device

Gas–liquid transportation is an efficient and economical technology developed in recent years. It mainly uses some equipment to simultaneously transport crude oil, associated natural gas, produced water, so on for the purpose of reducing costs energy consumption. In this paper, a double-chamber gas–liquid transferring device was selected as research object. The VOF multiphase flow model FLUENT software used simulate two-phase performance under design condition. relationships between flows, pressure, temperature, liquid level tank, outlet rate device, time were calculated analyzed. results show that operating cycle can be divided into three processes, namely ‘suction-compression-discharge’, which period formula proposed well. pressures gas are basically same, but temperatures two phases quite different compression process. process, valve closed zero, process approximately treated isothermal engineering design. comparison measured data oil field calculation indicates method paper feasible prediction optimization device.
